LesRMed 23
Is there a way to monitor remote antivirus clients in ESMC that are not attached to our domain?
Administrators Marcos 5,286 Posted September 16, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 16, 2020 Any client can report to the ESMC server as long as it can access it and agent is installed with a correct peer agent certificate and CA.

Theses are remote users (laptops) working from home.
GregA 3
You need to open the ESET agent communication ports on your firewall to allow external computers to report in.
ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted September 24, 2020 ESET Staff Share Posted September 24, 2020 As mentioned, network connectivity between AGENT and ESMC has to be established. We have seen various deployments in recent years where: ESMC was directly exposed to devices connecting from internet ESMC was in DMZ, exposed to internet ESMC was accessible from internet only through HTTP proxy that forwarded only AGENT's communication ESMC was hosted by public cloud provider, i.e. accessible from everywhere.
