Problems with updates?

There are no issues with updates. According to the screen shot there was a problem with connection to the repository. Do you update EFSW from ESET's update servers? Do you connect directly to the Internet or through a proxy server? If the machine is behind a firewall, does it have access to the repository servers listed in https://support.eset.com/en/kb332-ports-and-addresses-required-to-use-your-eset-product-with-a-third-party-firewall allowed? Does temporarily disabling update delivery optimization (use of CDN servers) in the update setup make a difference?

the servers are connected directly not via proxy

the issues seems to be intermittent, sometimes it's ok

if i check for updates 5 times one of them can be ok

are there any logs i can check on the client, to see what source is used for updates?

You can generate advanced update engine logs (adv. setup -> tools -> diagnostics) from time when the error occurs. When done, disable logging, collect logs with ELC and upload the generated archive here.

A proxy server is set via a policy:

EFSW intermittently gets download interrupted (0x2105) to a HEAD request. Try connecting directly and not through the proxy.
