Trying to download installer and can't get past the Windows Defender. Turned off AV and Firewall plus all notifications but still can't get through. Can't delete Defender either.

Are you stating that WD is blocking the download or installation of Eset?

Did you download Eset from here: https://www.eset.com/us/download/home/

Exactly what I am saying. There is not option to run anyway. It just tells me that I am protected. I wonder if it's because I deleted the McAfee first?

I downloaded from the email with my license key. The download went fine but it won't allow the installer to open.

What is showing that you are protected? If this is an Eset display, this would indicate Eset has been installed.
