ESET scans http(s) communication regardless of the browser. As for SSL scanning, it's browser independent as well as long as the browser honors root certificate from the system TRCA certificate store.

It's just that the following browsers are supported by banking and payment protection:
Internet Explorer (8.0.0.0+), Microsoft Edge (83.0.0.0+), Google Chrome (64.0.0.0+) and Firefox (24.0.0.0+).
