Computer scan taking longer than usual

I tried to scan my computer yesterday but canceled it after about 3 hours since it was longer than the usual amount of time it takes. I tried to scan it again thinking it would make a change but to my surprise it had surpassed 3 hours and is still scanning. Should I be concerned?

Try running a custom scan with WMI and registry unselected. You can also try disabling scanning archives.
