ESET Has Blocked My Site - What To Do?

Hello,

Questions about why a site was blocked must be addressed to the ESET's threat researchers following the instructions in hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN141. This forum does not provide assistance with these issues.

Our software is flagged as "Potential Threat" by eset NOD32 AV6 when downloaded from our domain. The software itself is definitely not infected, and passes all scans we can come up with, it's even rated clean by ESET itself on virustotal.com. 

I have tried to submit a false positive report as per instructions, including numerous emails to samples@eset.com , but I have never received an answer since September 17th, more than 2 weeks ago. The last one was sent on 27th Sept (12:32 CET) titled "False Positive" as requested, it contains all details required. 

Any chance of getting a response to this issue? What more can we do to resolve this speedily?

Win32/Systweak fulfills criteria of potentially unwanted applications, ie. t's not FP. If you make changes to the application so that it no longer meets criteria for PUA detection, contact ESET at the above mentioned email address and request re-evaluation of the application.

today i could make backup from my own site and then i scanned it by
eset nod32 smart security and then i found where is malware problems
!!! wow , i removed malware files for now , my site is clean

How long does it takes to respond to email sent to samples@eset.com?

It seems responding takes too long. I expect an answer within 24 hours, especcially when ESET is the only one blacklisting the domain.

 

First mail sent 5 days ago.

I just sent a second mail, please respond.

If the ESET is blocking a site it would be nice to give the cause for blocking.

To submit a suspicious file, website or possible false positive to ESET for analysis, follow the instructions for your issue using the link below:

-Your site actually has links to download malware on the index. You would probably need to run a thorough scan of your entire site and remove links to bad files as well through manual inspection.

If you can't or don't know how to clean up your site.
