SweX 871
From last year: https://forum.eset.com/topic/857-false-positive-on-wwwroulettebotpluscom/
SweX 871
If ESET users want to visit your site or use your app, they can simply add your site&app to their exclusions. And people using the parental control feature and for example have the "gambling" category ticked want sites like yours to be blocked. Our site (www.roulettebotplus.com) is being falsely detected as `Potentially unwanted content` on Eset's Parental control module. The error message: `Potentially unwanted content` `This page is identified as potentially unwanted.` `hxxp://www.roulettebotplus.com` `This web page is on the list of websites with dubious reputation or websites with potentially unwanted content.` Edited May 18, 2014 by SweX
Arakasi 549
Or people can disable detection of unwanted applications, and voila ! I sent several mail to samples@eset.comAnd to online support following all instructionsBut i didnt get any response. I checked your program and website out a week or so back. This is probably as forward as ill ever get :You won't get a response if the problem has not been addressed, fixed, or removed. (AFAIK, this has been what is observed) Do you have any advertisements on your site ? Take them ALL DOWN. Any Click ads ? Remove Them. Have any advertisements in your program, Take it ALL OUT. Does your program add any toolbars, change ANY system settings at all ? Remove it. I'm being kind of blunt and direct here. This is all respectfully in the interest to help you understand. See this link for more help. If you do not read it and apply it. The detection from ESET will remain. hxxp://www.antispywarecoalition.org/documents/BestPracticesFinal.htm Josh this is your 3rd or 4th turn to post here regarding your bot plus site and program. This is not the place to ask or dispute these detections. Edited May 19, 2014 by Arakasi
eset.user.new 0
Thank you for your replies. Still no one is answering to my question, why we are considered as PUA. Arakasi,Swex, and Eset: [-] Last year we had inside our application a lot of banners and advertisements! We removed them all! [-] We do not have any toolbar, or any system changing!! [-] We doing our best to be clean!!! I followed this `antispyware` document, and we are following everything there. Can't you just give information from Eset, why our application (and site) are being detected as PUA. I will FIX anything they want (we already removed all ads and banners). Thank you for understanding our business.

Administrators Marcos 4,935 Posted May 26, 2014 Administrators Share Posted May 26, 2014 It's been explained that this forum is in no way a means to dispute PUA detection. Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close.
