March54 0
I spent some time looking for the solution but mine is unique in comparison to most of the posts I could find. In this case, when I come to the Mac in the morning, it has that pop-up about Computer not being protected and it is locked hard. The allow button is not in the Sys preferences. CPU is running hard and fans are blasting. Can someone steer me to the correct article to fix this. It is very annoying and hard on the hardware. I have to reboot every day and the restart button on the Eset Pop-Up is not responsive. Thanks! Edited July 16, 2020 by March54
Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted July 16, 2020 Administrators Share Posted July 16, 2020 First of all please check if you have the latest version of ESET CyberSecurity Pro installed. You can try uninstalling it and installing it from scratch to make sure that default settings are used. Should the issue persist, please collect logs as per https://support.eset.com/en/kb3404-use-eset-logcollector-on-macos-and-send-the-logs-to-eset-technical-support and open a ticket with your local ESET support.
