A full WMI & reg. scan may take 10-20 minutes, hence it's important to not select them as targets if you want to run a quick scan only. Quick and in-depth scans are subject to further internal discussions and I see there room for improvements.

Actually aggressive vs balanced settings affect only detection, not scanning and currently affect mainly Augur detection only. We plan to make further optimizations to reduce scan times.

I recently updated to v13.2.15. Scanning has slowed considerably. Today I started a full scan of my laptop using in-depth-scanning. I stopped the scan after over 3 hours and it shows less that 300,000

Same thing here.  Since updating to the current version scans have been taking a ludicrous amount of time.  Currently sitting through one that's at 40 minutes so far.

Select Advanced scans -> Custom scan. Unselect "Registry" and select the drive or path to scan; the scan will be as fast as before.
