Valleria 0
Sorry to ask something so elementary. I have question about synchronizes users information from Active Directory. My AD user account is become ESMC Web Console users. Does it sync automatically when I will change my AD user password? Which task should I do to do that? or not? ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted July 7, 2020 ESET Staff Share Posted July 7, 2020 Not sure I understand correctly, but in case you are using "domain login" (i.e. login using domain credentials) there is no requirement for synchronization -> authentication is performed using active communication with active directory and password is not stored in ESMC itself. This means that change of password in domain should be required upon next domain login into ESMC.
ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted July 8, 2020 ESET Staff Share Posted July 8, 2020 @Valleria if you authenticate using your "AD user" and option "login to domain" is checked, then after a password change, new password will work for your ESMC instance automatically. Valleria 0
Thank you for MartinK and MichalJ😃 I realized my mistake. I think AD user's password is stored ESMC. This problem is resolved thanks to your support.😊
