Linux ESMC server SSL

Recommended Posts

Hi I am struggling with this issue. I have on my server Ubuntu 18.04 installed ESMC server. Everything is smooth and working :) But I have problem with SSL.

After installation TOMCAT is running on port :8080/era/webconsole. I want to setup on 443 (SSL). I have certificate for this but I don't understand clearly how to upload it in to tomcat :(

I read this manual but nothing :Dhttps://support.eset.com/en/kb6721-set-up-an-httpsssl-connection-for-eset-security-management-center-web-console-7x

My certificates are in .crt, .key format. If I understand properly I need first convert my certificates to .jks/.pfx format? After this conversion I can edit server.xml and it should work?

Thank you :)

I would recommend to stick with some generic tutorial for tomcat in Ubuntu 18.04, as there might be some specific. We do prefer jks as it seems to be most reliable and supported on all platforms, but there are indications that even other formats might be supported - depending on tomcat version and platform.
