Endpoint AV v5.0.2228.1 - Blank Menu

I recently started seeing the following on some recent installation of ESET Enpoint Antivirus

I ran the uninstaller from safe mode and did a clean install. The screen looks normal but after rebooting the same thing happens.

 

I have 4 machines so far with this issue.

This indicates a problem with ekrn. If you run "sc query ekrn" with administrator rights, is ekrn running or stopped?

 

PS: When posting, did you get an error "Service unavailable" ? I'm asking because a duplicate post was created.

Yes I got a Service unavailable" and I refreshed the page and saw the duplicate.

 

I ran "sq query ekrn" but i get: 'sq' is not recognized as an internal or external command

Looks like it was a permission issue. I was getting error when doing the normal uninstall.

 

I then did a Reset on all Users permission and is now working normally
