How to Install File Security 7.1 on offline network server?

Recommended Posts

When installing with efsl bin, download the necessary components from the mirror site.

However, how to proceed with the installation in the offline network?

If possible, please provide a list of required components.

Thank you

You can generate an offline license key via the EBA portal (eba.eset.com) to activate ESET products offline.

Please contact us regarding the change of your display name since your current includes "ESET" which may confuse some users who may consider you ESET's staff.

Thank you for answer.
I will change the name.

However, it is an installation question, not product activation.

I am using CentOS 6.x version and there is no internet.

Is there an installation method in that situation?

If you want to install EFS without internet access, you need to install all dependencies manually by downloading their packages from centos repositories. EFS dependencies could be found in unpacked rpm package (bin installer unpacks packages when executed with -n parameter).

[user@testmachine ~]$ rpm -qpR ./efs-7.1.561.0.x86_64.rpm
rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1

You need to install all this packages before installing EFS, but most of them will probably also have some additional dependencies. Packages are accessible from centos mirror, e.g. http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os/x86_64/Packages/.
