sky7 19
Microsoft patches IE zero-day flaw, issues special security update for Windows XP despite end of supportMy default web browser is Firefox so I don't worry too much about this issueAnyway it's time to update. I'm suprised MS still support XP users.I have no idea this update for XP user is good or bad... because XP will have another security issue soon. Will they make another exception next time? SweX 870
I'm suprised MS still support XP users. I have no idea this update for XP user is good or bad... because XP will have another security issue soon. Will they make another exception next time? 1. Im not surprised considering the big amount of XP users worldwide. 2. It's very good that they released the fix for the XP users considering how severe it was. 3. Maybe yes, if it's as bad as this one was. But this doesn't automatically mean that all 26% of the XP users can or will update the OS for various reasons. In anycase, we have an ongoing thread about this so it would be good to post in that one to keep all info about this in one thread. https://forum.eset.com/topic/2358-oh-really-internet-explorer-a-long-running-vulnerability/ Edited May 2, 2014 by SweX
