ESET Moderators Aryeh Goretsky 353 Posted May 29, 2013 ESET Moderators Share Posted May 29, 2013 Hello, Without know what sort of error message you are seeing (if any) and anything about your computer environment, it is hard to tell for certain what the problem might be, but it could be that your previously installed anti-malware software has not been completely removed from the computer, which could potentially block ESET's software from installing. ESET has published a list of uninstallers for other anti-malware programs in their knowledgebase at ESET Knowledgebase Article #146, "Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software." You can download the appropriate one from there, but before running it, I would suggest contacting ESET support to troubleshoot the issue further, as my colleagues Marcos and Bart suggested.
