Why does Eset connect to Undocumented Endpoint az29176.vo.msecnd.net

Recommended Posts

I noticed this connection to microsoft servers after waking up today, in glasswire. Can you please explain what this is for and also add it to and update kb332, https://support.eset.com/en/kb332-ports-and-addresses-required-to-use-your-eset-product-with-a-third-party-firewall

Thank you!

To avoid using CDN for program program updates and use only ESET's servers that are under ESET's control, you'd need to use repositorynocdn.eset.com. However, this is not configurable in consumer products, only in business products.

If the CDN is blocked will it fallback to myrepositorynocdn.eset.com?

also, if I were to redirect the cdn to repositorynocdn.eset.com in a hosts file will it still work?
