Kid can uninstall Parent control in Safe mode

Recommended Posts

HI!

I've installed Parental control to Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 (SM-P601) with Android 5.1.1.

All was great until this week. Suddenly I found my son (10yo) playing in restricted time. I've checked Tab and found Parental control uninstalled.

In conversation he told me a way which used for uninstall. It was Safe mode. He rebooted device in safe mode and uninstall ESET parental control.

Do some one know is it possible to prevent uninstall parental control in Safe Mode?

Kind regards,

Alexander

I guess it is not a good solution.

Do you have specific list with devices with unable to uninstall Parental control in Safe mode?

Unfortunately not. It's not possible to have all phone models of all brands and test various functionalities with each and with every version of Android.

That's a smart kid you have :) , it's quite a good thing , he is cheating your security measures ;) , another version of you.

You can lock the software with an AppLocker , but that won't prevent him from booting to safe mode again and remove it , you can close your bootloader/recovery , so he cannot do hard reset.
