opti1 2
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit and ESET NOD32 AV 13.1.21.0. The attached image just popped up on my screen. ESET was not open when this happened. Is it legitimate? If yes, the buttons are confusing. What happens if I click on STAY PROTECTED? What happens if I click on POSTPONE? Does the pop up keep coming back? What happens if I just 'X' out? Thanks!
Administrators Marcos 5,250 Posted April 10, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 10, 2020 "Stay protected' should open https://help.eset.com/eis/13/en-US/windows_7_eol.html with further information. Postpone will display the notification later. Clicking X will close the notification. The same notification should not be displayed again.

Mandy123 0
Come on ESET - you can produce better warnings than this. Yes, it is important and right to have a warning, but "Stay protected" is an unhelpful option. It should read something like "Click here for more information on how to stay protected". And "Postpone" is unhelpful too. Postpone what? It should be something like "Ignore warning". There was also another little pop-up message that flashed up, which has now gone and I can't remember the exact wording, but that was just as confusing.
