Exclusion

Recommended Posts

Hello,
On my Mac (High Sierra 10.13.6), I use Eset Cyber Security in version 6.8.10.

I would like to know how to exclude from the analysis, directories.

That is to put directories in a channel list, so that Eset considers them healthy?

Thanks for your help

I did exactly what was asked, and I rebooted my Mac. But nothing has changed. When I activate the protection of the USB ports, ESET deactivates them for me.

You can test exclusions by putting the eicar test file to excluded folders. If it's not detected then exclusions work. You've mentioned deactivation of USB ports. Not sure what you exactly meant but it doesn't sound like anything related to exclusions. I'd recommend opening a support ticket with your local ESET distributor.
