Device Control not working

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I am running a fully updated version of ESET Nod32 Antivirus on a Windows 10 PC.  After the latest update of the ESET software, I am getting a message saying 'Device Control is not fully functional'.  It then suggests that this problem can be resolved by a restart of the PC.  I have performed several restarts, but the problem is not resolved.  I am now having a lot of trouble with my USB connected speakers and web cam, and suspect that this is related to the NOD32 Antivirus problem.

Any one have any bright ideas on how to fix this?

Cheers & thanks,

Angus

Try temporarily uninstalling ESET to confirm or rule out ESET being the culprit.

Hi Marcos.

Thank you for the suggestion.  That is an option. It may make my peripherals work better in the short term - but it will not solve the fundamental problem with NOD Antivirus.  The thing I want to resolve is the problem it has with 'Device Control'.

Cheers & thanks,

Angus

Should the issue recur after installing v13.1.21 from scratch, create an advanced device control logs and provide it to customer care for perusal. The log will need to be checked by developers.
