Mr.Gains 4
I'm having an issue where I set the policy in the ESMC to enable advanced ecmd commands for a machine running ESET Endpoint v7.2.2055.0. I try to run eCMD through both file path and CLI, but it would pop up then close immediately.
Administrators Marcos 4,693 Posted March 6, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 6, 2020 What do you expect it to do? What authorization method did you select? If you want to use it to pause protection for instance, it will only work through a Run command task from ESMC.
Mr.Gains 4
Authorization method: Advanced setup password. I'm having an issue with a client machine generating "Registration to Windows Security Center was not successful", so I'm trying to use the eCMD for /registerav command since I tried other methods that didn't work. Administrators Marcos 4,693 Posted March 6, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 6, 2020 It doesn't require advanced ecmd commands to be activated. Just run ecmd with the said parameter as an administrator and it will re-register ESET to WSC.
Mr.Gains 4
I tried running as admin on ecmd at the following %programfiles%\eset\$ESET product name , but that's where it would pop up then close immediately or not pop up at all.
Administrators Marcos 4,693 Posted March 6, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 6, 2020 If you run it from the command line console and not directly, you'll see the output that it generates.
