Zsolt Varga 0 Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Does Eset Endpoint Security 7 or/and Eset Endpoint Antivirus 6.6 (with HIPS ransomware policies enabled) detects and blocks the 'PwndLocker Ransomware', which is targeting the networks of businesses and local governments and encrypts computer data of city administrations, public services, enterprises, organizations, etc. using AES?
Administrators Marcos 5,734 Posted March 4, 2020 Administrators Posted March 4, 2020 ESET detects the ransomware in question. However, in order to be 100% sure a hash of the file is needed. Crooks re-pack and modify existing malware so it's not possible to make an ultimate statement just based on a threat name.
