Change URL to access Remote Administrator

Recommended Posts

Instead of the <server address>/era, I'm looking to change it to 'eset.mydomain.com.au' to make it easier to access.  What would be the best way to achieve this?

Unfortunately there is no generic answer as it is not completely clear what will differ and also method / environment used for installation. For example certain deployment scenarios do install link that so that "era" part of url is not required when accessing console. It is is not present, Apache Tomcat configuration, or more precisely "ROOT" webapps directory has to be slightly modified.

In case hostname for accessing console will change, you might experience problems with certificate, which will probably have to be adapted to new hostname to avoid warning in browser - this is part of Apache Tomcat's configuration.
