Backing up ESMC Virtual Appliance with Veeam?

Recommended Posts

Hey all

First poster here.  Just wanted to ask if anyone is backing up their ESMC VA using Veeam at all and if so, how you're going about it?

I've recently migrated from a physical ERA 5.5 to an ESMC 7 VM and I'm not 100% confident of backing up the ESMC VA (in particular the MySQL db) using Veeam.

ESMC v7 is normal Centos 7, so if you have installed integration services into VM (yum install hyperv-daemons, if you have Hyper-V), you can do application consistent backup with Veeam.
