delaware 0 Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 My MacBook Pro recently updated the operating system and I received Security risk alert. The instructions said to ‘Open System Preferences and allow apps from ESET, spoil.sr.o. To load extensions’. when opening System Preferences, I do not find the option to do that. Can someone point me in the correct direction, please. I cannot use my laptop until it is once again secure. thanks deleware
Administrators Marcos 5,466 Posted February 16, 2020 Administrators Posted February 16, 2020 Please refer to https://support.eset.com/en/kb6512-eset-system-extension-blocked-in-macos-high-sierra-1013-and-later for instructions.
delaware 0 Posted February 17, 2020 Author Posted February 17, 2020 Hi Marcos, Thanks for attempting help me solve this. My new system is macOS Catalina, version 10.15.3 When i get to step # 3, fig. 2-3, "System software from developer "ESET, spot,s r. o." was blocked from loading" does not appear on the screen. Is there something else I need to be doing? Thanks again, delaware

delaware 0 Posted February 17, 2020 Author Posted February 17, 2020 Hi again, Marcos. My MAC tells me I have no way to open 'SQL command file. Do you mean customer care at Apple or ESET 7 hours ago, Marcos said: If the following doesn't help either, please contact customer care: https://support.eset.com/en/kb6570-eset-system-extensions-not-approved-properly-in-macos-high-sierra-1013-and-later
Administrators Marcos 5,466 Posted February 18, 2020 Administrators Posted February 18, 2020 I meant ESET's customer care. Please provide them with logs collected as per https://support.eset.com/en/kb3404-use-eset-logcollector-on-macos-and-send-the-logs-to-eset-technical-support and maybe a couple of screen shots as well to demonstrate the issue.
delaware 0 Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 I am unable to download the Log Collector
Administrators Marcos 5,466 Posted February 19, 2020 Administrators Posted February 19, 2020 It looks like you opened https://support.eset.com/en/kb3466-how-do-i-use-eset-log-collector with instructions for Windows in error. My link was different: https://support.eset.com/en/kb3404-use-eset-logcollector-on-macos-and-send-the-logs-to-eset-technical-support
dopameme 0 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 I'm having this exact same issue, does anyone have any update on how to fix?
delaware 0 Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Sorry, Marcos. See if the attached is what I need. Thanks! customer_info.zip
Administrators Marcos 5,466 Posted February 21, 2020 Administrators Posted February 21, 2020 Logs need to be provided to customer care that will pass them further to developers. Please create a support ticket with your local ESET distributor.
