MelisKule 0 Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 I lost my work laptop last Friday 2/7 so I marked it as missing in my ESET anti-theft. It was recovered later that day and I thought I had gone in & marked it as "not missing" (I logged in from my other laptop), but it had apparently not saved as "not missing". When I turned my work laptop on this morning and logged in, I received an email alert that ESET anti-theft has recorded suspicious activity on my device....someone had logged on using the Phantom Account. That "suspicious" person was me and I have since logged in and marked the laptop as "not missing" but all my files are gone (photos, word documents, excel files, etc). Is there a way to recover them?

Please drop me a private message with the name of the device that you marked as missing. There are two devices in the list, however, none is showing any activity data.
