Eset ADD Firewall Command Line?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have to block several IPs to the firewall (approximately 300), add them to the Windows firewall, but ESET Firewall does not recognize them as valid rules, how can I add them to Eset Internet Security v13 via command line?

Or what should I modify in ESET so that the Windows rules are taken as valid?

Thank you.

Unfortunately this is not possible. What is the use case of creating a firewall rule for that many IP addresses? What are those IP addresses?

Why are you adding them to the Windows firewall?

To begin, the Win firewall allows all outbound traffic by default. In any case, firewall rules should always be created in Eset. By default, Eset firewall processing only uses Win inbound firewall rules after all Eset firewall rules have been processed and the network traffic has not been processed by an Eset firewall rule.

What I suggest is you create a new Network zone in Eset Network protection. Add all the IP addresses you wish to block in that new Zone. Then reference this new Zone in the new Eset firewall you created.
