Hey all. Until recently my ESET was working fine. I recently downloaded Spotify and upon trying to log in, found that a firewall was blocking my access. I poked around a bit and the settings and tried to make an exclusion for Spotify, but that didn't work.

Long story short, I'm currently at a point where I can't access any sites on the internet without turning off the ESET firewall. Why is this happening and how might I fix this? What's the point in internet security if you need to disable a firewall every time you need to access the web?

Are you unable to open any website in browsers either?
Do you have the firewall in automatic mode?
Do you have any custom firewall rules created?
Is your local network in the trusted zone (ie. was marked as home / office)?

Did you remove whatever changes you made and then check if Internet access was restored?
