Jakes 0 Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 I inherited a setup with about a 100 clients connecting to an ERA v6 server. This server is now dead and gone, no backups ðŸ˜. Can I spin up the latest Security Management Console v7.1 virtual appliance version, give it the same IP and have the clients connect to it? Or are the clients tied to the original ERA server which means I would need to redeploy endpoint security on each client computer? Thanks for any guidance or insights!

Jakes 0 Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 Ah OK thanks for the advice! If by some miracle I can revive the old ERA box, can I simply export the certificate and import into ESMC 7? Is that all that needs to be carried across to the new ESMC for the clients to be able to connect again? (I assume the certificate has to be exported from the web interface of the old ERA?)  Thank!
