How do I remove "whatsmyspeed.co" adware?

This is my first posting and I hope I'm doing it correctly.

When I downloaded Windows 10 recently and followed the instructions, there was a step to click on "What's my speed" which I did. I thought it was odd but assumed since I was downloading Microsoft and was following their instructions I was supposed to do this.  Since then, I receive various pop-up ads, all with "Google Chrome -> whatsmyspeed.co" as the last line.  There is no "X" to close the box. I Googled this and found responses with suggestions to download various malware cleaning utilities with free 30 day trials.  I had hoped this could be addressed by ESET before I do anything like that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
