JOKEEFE 1
We are a business customer running ESMC v7 with clients running Endpoint Security v7. We have some old machining equipment that must run on XP. (I know, I know). Anyway, I have installed Endpoint Security v6.5 on the XP machines, but I can not Activate them through ESMC. The activation fails. I thought that the v7 licenses would activate any of the previous versions as well. Is it possible to run two different endpoint versions using the same license pool? Thanks, James
ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted December 17, 2019 ESET Staff Share Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) Licenses are not tight to any specific product version, so it should work OK. I would rather attempt to troubleshoot the activation problems on the machine where it is failing to activate, as I do expect there are connectivity / certificate problems. Some details might be located in the ESMC agent tracelog, search for the word "error". Edited December 17, 2019 by MichalJ

I'm not sure how to do a manual activation with the business license. I'll give it a try though. Thanks.
Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted December 17, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2019 You can enter the license key during installation or later in the program:
