I have windows 10 64 Bit and yes I am in safe mode.

So my question is what can I do to solve this I went into the registry and found a few of those {56FFCC30-D398-11D0-B2AE-00A0C908FA49} keys,

can I just delete them manually?

Best regards

What tool did you run? The ESET Uninstall tool doesn't seem to produce such messages:

What Windows do you use? If Windows 10, what build is it?

Is it possible to install ESET and then uninstall it in the standard way?

It's version 1909 build 18363.476

I already uninstalled it the standard way, but I want to get rid of the leftovers.

Please restart the Windows in Safe Mode then run the ESET Uninstaller (make sure you have the last version of the uninstaller), after you run the uninstaller you can find "ESET Purge Lover" in command prompt, choose it to cleaning.

Hello,

thats exactly what I already did.

The problem is that the ESET uninstaller cannot delete the leftover data.

Have you tried right clicking on the uninstaller when in safe mode and chosing the run as administrator option?

Yes, I chose ran it as an administrator but it had no effect.

So I've finally managed to solve the problem, somehow I did not have the permission do delete this registry entry.

So I started the registry via PowerRun and was able to delete one entry manually.

After that the eset Uninstaller coul not detect any leftover date.

Thanks for four support.

I just checked my Win 10 x(64) 1909 installation and that registry key doesn't exist. I strongly suspect that is why you are receiving the delete error message from the uninstaller.

The Eset uninstaller is written to run on all Eset and OS versions supported. I wouldn't worry anymore about that error message.
