Grist 0
Edit: using version 7.0.302.26 Scan log entry: [...] » UPX v12_m2_dll - a variant of Win32/Packed.VMProtect.AAN trojan - was a part of the deleted object The file was in exclusions and was permanently deleted after reboot. It basically destroyed 100h of my work. Is there any way to get that data back? This bug really needs to be fixed. Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted March 28, 2014 Administrators Share Posted March 28, 2014 I have never heard of nor came across a problem when a file cleaned by ESET wasn't quarantined before an action was taken. Try using a file recovery tool to undelete the file. Afterwards, reproduce the problem with a copy of the file; we'd be interested in troubleshooting it. By the way, the detection is correct.
