ESET giving 'Website Certificate Revoked' message

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm unable to access stormfront.org from any of my PCs with EIS installed. I'm getting the following message in any browser:

sfsfsdfsf.jpg

This doesn't happen on other PCs NOT running ESET products. Can someone from ESET fix this please? Alternatively can i whitelist this site in ESET settings?

Oh and before anyone asks why I need to visit this site, I work/report for Hope Not Hate :)

Cheers

This is not ESET's fault that the certificate used by the website was revoked. An administrator should replace the certificate with a valid one. As for the other machines, maybe you don't have SSL filtering enabled in ESET that you don't get any warning.

Here's another Qualys report showing all IPs associated with the domain show revoked certificate: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=stormfront.org .

Of note is it appears Chrome still trusts this certificate.🤨

I'm having a similar problem with

https://saynotomercury.com/

The webmaster assures me his security certificates are up to date.

He asked me to clear my cookies, caches and history... but it made no difference.

ESET is the only product blocking access.

Can you please advise why?

🙂

He is not telling the truth or is not aware of the revoked certificate:
