Hi Team,

We have Management Center (Server), Version 7.1 (7.1.717.0) and Management Agent version 7.0.577.0 on client machines. We are trying to activate the End Security product (7.1.2053.0) by both way manual/remote but it fails with ECP.20006. We didn't have any proxy or firewall setup. Please let me know how to proceed with the activation.

Please let me know if any other details required to check on this. PFA the error screenshot.

Hi Marcos,

1, We lost the old ESET server and Made a new set up with Management Center (Server), Version 7.1 (7.1.717.0) and trying to Sync all the client machine to new setup. Please let us know what is the best way to do that, we have agent & ESET product already installed in many workstations.

2, We are adding new Windows 10 Pro clients to ESET Server to manage remotely,  Here is what we did.

Installed the agent manually and deployed the ESET End Point product remotely, that works good but the product activation was not successful. So we tried to activate the product manually by ESET Business Account & Purchased key but no luck both failed.

3, Installation and activation on one of the MacBook Pro was successful.

PFA the log collected with ESET log collector. Please let me know if any other details required. Thanks.

Hello @Cashrewards,

1. in case you lost the old management server with not backup you need to redeploy the agents so the have the new

2. My personal guess is that the Windows endpoints are not able to get to https://edf.eset.com/edf do you use any proxy / firewall to control the access to the Internet? The ECP.20006 means that the client fails to establish secure connection to the EDF...

note: the proxy is  being set per user basis and the ESET service runs under the Local system user ...

3. the process is the same on Windows and macOS as well...

Regards, Peter
