It looks like some of my WIndows endpoints have an outdated Management agent according to ESMC console. Installed version is 7.0.577.0 and latest is 7.1.717.0. How do i go about updating the agent via a task on the ESMC server? WHen i click update in the outdated module screen it says there are no products to update.

Please follow documentation for client task Security Management Center Components Upgrade. Task configuration will require just to specify reference version and select targets where task is to be executed. Also be aware that this task upgrade also other ESMC components as is ESMC itself and also webconsole.

So i cannot just upgrade Management agent on select Windows 7/10 endpoints? It will also update the ESMC instance version itself? It will update both the following also?

ESET Security Management Center (Server), Version 7.0 (7.0.577.0)
ESET Security Management Center (Web Console), Version 7.0 (7.0.429.0)

Task will upgrade components only on targets that were selected when executing task. So until you configure it to be executed on your ESMC Server, it won't be upgraded.

EDIT: but it is recommended to upgrade ESMC before upgrading clients as there might be some inconsistencies when newer AGENT is used with older ESMC.

I think i will wait until 7.1 has been released for a while. Make sure there are no bugs with it
