I cannot update my Eset Internet Security. Always failed when I try to update and automatic update failed also.

I'd uninstalled and then installed it again, but still cannot update.

Please help me fix this issue.

Most likely you are behind a proxy that requires authentication or that blocks access to ESET's servers and replaces the content of the update file with an html web page with information.

Please enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Details for customer care and run update. Then disable logging, collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.

Your ISP doesn't return 401 correctly; instead they return a website showing 401 code:

Is it possible for you to connect through another ISP or through a proxy?
