Webcontrol ESET Endpoint Security not work

Dear, i use rule block facebook on mac book mojave version, but not worked, 

are endpoint security for mac not support block it?

If you block "facebook.com" and then try to open https://www.facebook.com, is it blocked? We do not perform SSL introspection on MacOS so the question is if blocking the main FB page works or not.

no, it can still open.

i use url *facebook.com* and it still passed...

is there another way for that?

Port 443 must not be added to the list of HTTP ports on Mac. Adding a port number for HTTPS as HTTP will not make HTTPS filtered but may call for various issues with HTTPS instead.

Yes you are right Marcos but as of now https scanner is not avail for Mac so we are blocking secure sites with this temporary solution & it works without any issue.

Ok, I've checked it with colleagues and you're right. However, while adding port 443 will enable filtering https websites by hostname, it may cause issues with ssl communication in certain cases. In such case the port should be removed from the list.
