Converting trial version into licensed version

I'm currently running Eset Smart Security 7.0 as a trial, which will expire on April 4. I bought a one-year license. If I activate ESS using that license code today, will my license expire on April 4, 2015 (i.e., the day my trial expires plus one year) or on March 19, 2015 (i.e., the day I activate the license code plus one year)?

Hello Ron, when you activate, its from that point on.

So if you activate today. The remaining days of your trial will be overwritten with your new license and will expire on March 19, 2015.

I recommend waiting till April 3 to activate, or if you would like, contact customer care by phone if you would like to discuss other options.

However, just holding off to activate would be my recommendation.
