Pawel_R 0
Hello! For a long time when i start my computer I get a Hidden channel ICMP alert. Some of the ips are from Amazon, my network provider, and... Gameservers.com?!!?. I scanned with malwarebytes, Malwarebytes anti-rootkit and eset and nothing found. Please help and tell me if its dangerous or not, and how to delete it and prevent from happening. Paweł.
Administrators Marcos 5,238 Posted September 21, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 21, 2019 Please make sure that the detection is disabled: It is disabled by default since some legitimate applications may use ICMP for communication in a non-standard way. The detection is disabled by default and will be probably removed from the setup in the future.

If it has IDS protection, it probably has this same setting as an option. My router does and I have it enabled. Hence, I never see a corresponding detection by Eset's IDS protection.
