Chris Greenwood 0
Hi, We are running docker containers (with process isolation) on a Windows 2016 Server host. The host runs ESET File Security 7.0.12018.0. Does this provide protection against viruses and malware inside the containers ? Or should we consider running specialist security product for docker containers as well? Thank you in advance. ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 944 Posted October 8, 2019 ESET Moderators Share Posted October 8, 2019 Hello Cris, we do not have a special integration for docker based solutions. Can you be please more specific what the application does and how? The EFSW is able to provide standard level of protection i.e. real-time file system protection, application protocol scanning and so on... Moreover the version 7+ provides basic Network protection as well, see https://help.eset.com/efsw/7.0/en-US/idh_config_epfw_basic_group.html for details... On the other hand it is not bale for example to scan data put into a database... Regards, Peter
