checker 0
Have removed ESET Internet Security long time ago. But these files still exist and can not be removed without crashing the system: eamonm.sys edevmon.sys ehdrv.sys ekbdflt.sys epfw.sys EpfwLWF.sys Removal makes the system inoperabel. They are all located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\*.sys avremover does not find it. How to get rid of them? Help would be very appreciated. Administrators Marcos 5,231 Posted September 12, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 12, 2019 1, Drivers are uninstalled / removed during standard uninstallation. 2, If uninstallation is failing, you can run the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode: https://support.eset.com/kb2289/ Drivers should not be removed manually since some require a proper unregistration from the registry, otherwise you may not be able to boot in safe mode either (typically edevmon.sys).
