Administrators Marcos 5,259 Posted September 7, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2019 Does temporarily disabling protocol filtering make a difference? Are you able to ping hosts? Does the issue occur with any browser? Do you have the latest version of ESET Endpoint Antivirus v7.1 installed?
Ictgoodpractice 0
Thanks for replying. Yes latest version on there from ESET cloud administrator. We only have Chrome on the machines. Windows 10. i need to look into it more. Administrators Marcos 5,259 Posted September 7, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2019 These are the only settings that are responsible for checking network communication in Endpoint Antivirus:
Ictgoodpractice 0
Thanks, that is really helpful 👍🏻. Should all of these be on? If so, do you know if I can push that to clients from the cloud administrator if they are off?
Administrators Marcos 5,259 Posted September 8, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 8, 2019 Yes, they all should be on for maximum protection. However, in order to narrow it down try disabling them, one at a time and see if the issue goes away. If that doesn't make any difference, I'd also try temporarily uninstalling ESET since it's unlikely it'd be the culprit.
