branedamag 0
Between Saturday and today, all my network settings have changed. All my printers and devices have disappeared. I am generally unable to connect to the printer on my home network. If I disable firewall and protection, I can work, so it would appear to be ESS-related. I have uninstalled and re-installed without any change. I am running in interactive mode, and I enabled everything in IDS. No improvement so far. Any thoughts? Administrators Marcos 4,720 Posted March 17, 2014 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2014 ESS doesn't change network settings. The standard procedure for tackling issues with blocked communications is as follows: - enable logging of all blocked connections in the IDS setup - clear the firewall log - reproduce the issue - disable logging - export your firewall log to a text file (not xml) and attach it here.
