ESET not working

When I am trying to start ESET it is initializing and after that it says to  install new version or upgraded version when i say confirm it says that i have already installed a new version and that is true. but i cant scan my PC or run the ESET programme.

Please elaborate more on "I can't scan my pc or run the ESET program" and provide some screen shots for clarification.

I'd recommend starting Windows in safe mode and running the Uninstall tool. Then after rebooting to normal mode install the latest v12.2.23 from scratch.
