MacBook Pro (2018) Problems with eset

MacBook Pro 2018.......MacBookPro15,1, 10.14.6,Intel Core i7, updates ran

installed eset through ESecurity Management Center, ESET Endpoint Antivirus v6.7.900.0. Immediately noted freezes, extra-ordinary cpu utilization, and battery drain, 46% in 3.5 hours.  After uninstalling, all corrected.  Apologize ahead if this is wrong forum, or if this question addressed elsewhere.  I did search, but no results

I'd suggest collecting logs with ESET Log Collector as per the KB https://support.eset.com/kb3404/, opening a support ticket with your local customer care and providing them with the generated archive for perusal.
