crlamb 0
The Scheduler on my wife's computer shows five (5) categories....Log Maintenance, Auto Update, Update, Automatic Startup File Check and Scan - On Demand show the "Last Run" as 1/24/2015 @ 8:05am. Not sure how or why......any ideas as to how to correct this ???
Arakasi 549
Hello, As far as i know, you have a few options. 1 Delete the Task, and re-create it. (Fairly Easy) 2 Uninstall and reinstall to have the tasks recreated on their own. (Easy, but lengthy, and settings have to be exported and re-imported) 3. Edit the registry to reflect the change in time stamps for 2015. (Medium difficulty) *I would not recommend this unless you absolutely know what you are doing. Requires windows timestamp knowledge and basic understanding of converting DWORD values to and from hexadecimal and decimal.
crlamb 0
Can you tell me how to complete the first suggestion...i.e. "Delete the task and then re-create it"
Administrators Marcos 4,923 Posted March 5, 2014 Administrators Share Posted March 5, 2014 There's no need to re-create default tasks. Just make sure that the system date and time is correct as it's returned by the operating system.
Arakasi 549
I think his task in question is an On-Demand Scan he setup himself. I may be wrong here on which task he is trying to fix the "last run" timestamp. Edited March 5, 2014 by Arakasi
