Dynamic Group based on Computer Description

Hi,

We need to have a dynamic group based on computer description.

I found everything to work with computer name in ESMC 7.x but our need is more specific.

Is anyone have a clue for us ?

This is not possible. Could you please provide more details about your use case? What do you use as computer description based on which you would like to create dynamic groups?

We use asset number for computer name and we put the physical location in the computer description. AD environnement.

So when a computer is broken, we change for a new one with a different computer name. We only have to put the physical location to finish the job.

For specific computers in different AD container but in the same physical location, we need to apply a specific ESET politic.

That's why dynamic group is helpful for us.
