Hi

How often does the ESET scans run on computer? Is there a way to check it from remote management centre? and if the scan starts on itself, what triggers that?

There is no disk scan scheduled by default. It's not needed since files are scanned as being downloaded or saved to a disk plus a startup scan is run after each update and when the computer starts. Moreover, it's also possible to run idle-state scans when the computer is idling. I would not recommend running a scheduled full disk scan more often that once a week or even month.

1, I meant ESET modules updates. There are typically 6 updates per day plus recent program versions also support streamed updates which are issued in an approx. 10 min. interval.

2, Disk scans can be scheduled under Tools -> Scheduler.

can we stop the scan every time the modules are updated?

You can, but not recommended. Also, they run at low priority and only scan commonly used files:

ok, and how often the module updates are sent by eset?

@Marcos already answered this previously. On average approximately 6 per day. Most of the updates are signature ones.

It is not recommended. First, the scan is very quick and should be unnoticeable. Second, it scans areas, such as UEFI and WMI so disabling startup scan tasks would leave them not scanned.
