3 user activation

i bought a 3user eset smart security and activated once using the code ,then i didn't use the activation code in any other devices,after 1 year when my activated product expired i used this activation code to activate it again and it prompted that the code expired, but  i didn't use my other two turns

A license becomes valid as of the time of purchase, not since the time of activation on particular devices.

To help clarify further, once you activate the first device with a multi-user license the clock starts running. The license is then valid for the duration of the term purchased regardless if any other devices are activated and even if the first device is deactivated. This is a common practice in the security software industry.
